RULES AND REGULATIONS
of the
Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority
1. DEFINITIONS
The words and terms used in this resolution shall be construed or defined as follows, unless the context indicates otherwise:
"Authority” means “Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority” (BFJRA);
"Trail” means the Old Pennsylvania Turnpike Trail also know as the TOPP Trail
“Board” means the Board Members of Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority;
“Visitor” shall include a person, partnership, association, or corporation who enters upon the Trail.
The Rules and Regulations apply to every Visitor who enters the Trail and agrees to be bound thereby.
II. RULES FOR USE OF TRAIL
The following provides the Rules of the Trail, to which each Visitor shall comply:
The Trail is closed from dusk to dawn;
Entry to the Plenum level of the tunnels must be authorized by the Board;
Unauthorized vehicles are not permitted on the Trail.
Using a device that is capable of discharging or propelling a projectile is prohibited except in accordance with the Game and Wildlife Code;
Alcohol and/or recreational drugs are not permitted;
Glass containers are not permitted;
Fires are not permitted;
Camping is not permitted;
Spray paint, and/or spray cans or permanent markers, of any kind, are not permitted;
Littering is not permitted;
Use of the property for any personal, organizational, or commercial purpose other than the intended use as defined in the Authority's Articles of Incorporation is not permitted.
III. ENFORCEMENT
The Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of Conversation and Natural Resources, and any private security hired by the Board shall have the authority to enforce these Rules.
